Job Summary:

 

Manage all aspects of PMA promotion and growth within a specific region, in conjunction with regional sales team, product management and other internal teams.

Develop program level strategies for customer base that will integrate and accelerate the utilization of PMA parts.

 

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the customers: Fleet or MRO capability, in-house vs. outsourced maintenance, agreements, competitive landscape, product penetration and opportunity.
  • Travel with sales representatives to customers and trade shows on a consistent basis
  • Create strategic proposals for customers
  • Analyze and understand market intelligence: Competition, customers, pricing, leasing, bi-lateral agreements, etc.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of PMA sell and development: Part/ system relationship, type of PMAs, certification process, ODA, internal PMA process, airline PMA approval process, etc.
  • Train the sales reps in region on technical aspects of PMA and provide consistent technical support
  • Work directly with target customers on PMA initiatives
  • Facilitate cross regional airline/ shop coordination on key PMA initiatives
  • Identify and increase PMA development activity on key platforms
  • Ensure consistent promotion and traction of New PMAs at target customers
  • Utilize Salesforce to coordinate initiatives with Sales teams

  • Must be able to work well with others on a team in a collaborative and respectful manner
  • Strong data base skills, including excel, word, power point and Access.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions related to PMA
  • High propensity for mechanical concepts. 
  • High degree of communication, business and marketing skills
  • High degree of industry knowledge.
  • Must be detailed-oriented and focused on results.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Marketing or related field
  • MBA degree preferred
  • Sales, Marketing or Product Management experience preferred
  • Three years of related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
