Job Title: Customer Account Program Manager [W]        

Department: Sales Operations

Reports to: Director of Sales Operations

FLSA Status: Exempt            EEO: First/Mid-Level

 

Job Summary:

Works cross-functionally and researches and synthesizes data to ensure the sales organization has to the right information to target customers and solve their problems. Focal point for the management and cross functional integration of customer account deliverables both in the bid/quote and execution (post win) phase within Wencor Group 

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaison for Sales to the rest of the organization (Finance; Product Development; etc.)
  • Prepares the Sales team to meet with customers by creating presentations, preparing business cases, packages, etc.
  • Does market research, customer research, and works with the Business Analytics team to develop specific customer targeting strategies
  • Prepare detailed plans, gather finance and pricing information and send that information to the MROs and other business units within the organization and/or customers
  • Integrates inputs from the product line managers, engineering, finance and contracts to present and execute value added offerings to the marketplace
  • Prepares a wide range of material from introduction, to bid, to regular account performance for presentation to the customer and for internal governance
  • Ensures regular communications, periodic reporting, problem resolution, contract negotiations, escalation of issues, and discussion of opportunities are occurring in support of our customers.
  • Other responsibilities as outlined by management

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong database, spreadsheet, and presentation skills
  • Must be fluent with Microsoft Office 2007/2010 suite of products, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High degree of communication, business and marketing skills
  • Ability to research, synthesize data, and draw conclusions from that data
  • Industry knowledge
  • Ability to read and analyze drawings

  • Occasionally required to walk and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be detailed-oriented and focused on results.

Education Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field, three years of commercial aviation related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. PMP or PMI professional qualification (either completed or in-progress) is highly desirable.
