Job Title: Account Management Supervisor

Department: Sales Account Management

Reports to: Director of Sales Operations          

Direct reports: 13         Indirect reports:          0

FLSA Status:     Exempt                         Grade: A24

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors day-to-day operations and activities of Account Management (regional) team
  • Partners in establishing and tracks regional sales KPIs performance to established goals
  • Reviews and analyzes daily sales, quote follow-up, and other reports to determine Account Managers' performance
  • Identifies, establishes, and implements best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments within Wencor
  • Assists with maintaining updates to sales procedures
  • Coordinate team coverage and workflow to maintain optimal team performance and efficiencies.
  • Conducts quarterly one-on-one reviews with each Account Manager.
  • Assists with Account Managers' annual performance and merit reviews.
  • Additional responsibilities or projects as determined by management

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.  Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be fluent with MS Office software and other computer applications generally.  Analytical, detail-oriented, and problem solver. Ability to manage and motivate sales employees as demonstrated by previous management experience.  Solid knowledge of aerospace parts industry.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, or related degree and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Aerospace industry experience required.
