Job Title: Kitting Program Manager [W]

Department: Value Added Services

Reports to: SVP, Services

FLSA Status: Exempt       EEO: First/Mid-Level

 

Job Summary:

Manage all aspects of assigned value added service programs, with focus on Parts, Customers Contracts, and Proposals. Manage efficient and effective development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that provide the company's value added services.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Champion sales and profits through pricing, market analysis, technical and business training, and inventory management
  • Accountable for sales, gross margin, inventory turns and fill rate of kitting customer programs
  • Understand the customers (their fleet and maintenance, scope, and product penetration)
  • Monitor and manage initial stocking levels.  Keep optimum stock level to balance customer satisfaction and ROI.
  • Support sales representatives with proposals, technical documentation, and customer contracts
  • Create business case for needed investments.
  • Develop order book management strategies
  • Work across the organization cross-functionally to ensure success of the program.
  • Be the main liaison with customer representatives, including regular communications, periodic reporting, problem resolution, contract negotiations, escalation of issues, discussion of opportunities, etc.
  • Responsible for training Sales in processes of program for both maintenance and marketing of program
  • Analyze customer usage data for program candidacy
  • Ensure that program/contract reviews are performed in coordination with the customers at regular intervals, developing standardized program review format.
  • Manage strategic relationships with key customers
  • Market kitting capabilities to potential customers in coordination with sales & marketing
  • Develop provisioning methods for existing requirements of program.
  • Lead and develop any direct reports with active two way communication, setting and reviewing SMART goals, and implementing a robust development plan
  • Manage through the business process customer on-time-delivery, quality, and voice of customer
  • Set program goals and performance metrics and measure progress
  • Develop program financial projections
  • Other responsibilities as outlined by management

  • Strong database, spreadsheet, analytical and presentation skills
  • Must be fluent with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field, five+ years of related experience; including 2+ in leadership role or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
