The Control Tower Manager will be responsible for contract compliance, service level criteria, and coordination with other functions and customers to ensure Wencor delivers exceptional customer service.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze the service level of key customers and work with all functions in Wencor to deliver exceptional service
  • Reviews expediting tool and communications to manage inventory levels and determine a course of action to include expediting or de-expediting of requirements.
  • Order book management
  • Runs and posts internal performance reports
  • Monitors logistical lead time
  • Review customer usage report and expedite through other functions
  • Performs forecasting and consumption recalculations

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and presentation skills
  • Must be fluent with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel (Advanced Skills Required), Access, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to easily communicate verbally and in writing across functions and cultures
  • Aerospace knowledge a plus

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or engineering and 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to problem solve and apply common sense understanding to carry out daily tasks. Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with word processing, spreadsheet and access applications required. Previous purchasing experience desired.  Ability to work independently.
