Position Summary

The ideal candidate will design and manage all internal global sales and company branding related communications. Responsible for creating, maintaining and executing the global sales communication plan and related activities that result in consistent messaging and timely dissemination of information in order to increase awareness of the department activities and enhance organizational understanding. Direct communication efforts with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messages are being received by shared audiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Communication
  • Ensure accuracy of website content for all Wencor Group business units and affiliates
  • Develop and communicate strategic vision
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to market available products and services on a monthly basis (e.g. PMAs)
  • Assist in website enhancements/initiatives for all Wencor Group companies
  • Develop and maintain corporate wide communications
  • Manage social media presence (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Support search engine optimization efforts as needed
  1. Branding  
  • Assist in qualitative and quantitative market research initiatives
  • Assist in the creation of product literature, presentation templates, and other visual tools to support sales efforts.
  • Facilitate and analyze all market research surveys
  • Provides market data to company leadership, sales and product management teams
  • Manages the rebranding and communication of acquisitions.
  • Provide input on various customer communications including quarterly newsletters
  • Create and distribute press releases for various publications and advertisements
  1. Trade Shows and Corporate Events 
  • Oversee all aspects of Wencor Group events and trade shows including but not limited to financial budget and logistics for each event (i.e. venue selection, registration, accommodation and transportation, catering, signage, booth design and graphics, sponsorships, etc.)
  • Create customer-facing marketing materials as needed.
  • Develop graphics and other design elements to be used in industry trade shows and events.
  • Negotiate favorable contracts with service provides including hotels, convention centers, and speakers
  • Manages public relations with industry trade publications and editors.
  • Attends trade shows as needed to meet and network with the press and coordinate logistics.
  • Manages the design, logistics, and budget for corporate marketing including trade shows and conferences, advertising, giveaways, memberships, etc.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Acrobat XI Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, CCS and/or other graphical software and website design tools
  • 5-7 years' experience in qualitative and quantitative research
  • Knowledge of Search Engineer Optimization (SEO)
  • Knowledge of E-commerce and other web-based search tools
  • Ability to present to and collaborate with C-level Executives, Board of Directors, and External and Internal stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and project management skills
  • Self-Starter with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors and sponsors to meet budgets and deadlines
  • Excellent writing, grammar and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical text for a broader audience
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to style and format requirements.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required or Master's degree preferred in a related field and at least 7-10 years of experience.
